Luminox watches were first designed when a recruitment officer for the US Navy SEALs approached us with the request to have a watch made specifically for their needs. Luminox quickly became a part of their essential gear and has been regularly supplied to the SEALs since that time. That same original dive watch (3000 Series) we created for them is still the most popular model in the collection.
Luminox also has a rich history with the US Air Force, who asked us to design a watch that fit their needs after we heard they were using the second hand on the Navy SEALs watch to time sensitive missions. A partnership with Lockheed Martin resulted and Luminox began creating a series of watches the take their design cues from key aspects of the planes.
